Students from Grades 1–12 in any country are eligible to participate.
XPERTSTEM focuses on the core STEM disciplines:
- Science
- Technology
- Engineering
- Mathematics
The syllabus varies by grade level and is available for download on the website.
The competition is conducted in English for online rounds.
The competition consists of three stages:
- Online Preliminary Round – open to all registered students
- Online Semi-Final – for top scorers from the preliminary round
- Onsite Global Final – for the best students worldwide
Each test lasts 60 minutes and consists of multiple-choice questions only.
- Minimum passing score: 60 points
- Medals are awarded based on performance ranges (Gold, Silver, Bronze)
- All participants receive a certificate of participation
No. Calculators and electronic devices are strictly prohibited.
Students are expected to complete the exam using only pen, paper, and their own knowledge.

- A laptop or desktop computer (recommended)
- A supported web browser (latest version of Chrome, Firefox, or Safari)

No. All fees are non-refundable once registration is complete. Please review all details before finalizing payment.

- Top performers receive medals and achievement certificates.
- Winners are recognized on the official XPERTSTEM website.
No. The evaluation process is final, and appeals are not accepted.
