XPERTSTEM Mathematics Challenge 

The XPERTSTEM Mathematics Challenge is a competitive exam conducted at an international level, inviting students from grades 3 to 12 from schools around the globe to participate. This challenge provides a unique platform for young mathematicians to assess their mathematical knowledge and compare their skills with peers worldwide while enjoying an innovative experience.

The challenge questions focus on conceptual understanding, application of knowledge in new situations, problem-solving, reasoning, communication, and general mathematical thinking. Problem-solving is a vital life skill that empowers students, allowing them to create more opportunities for their future. 

We invite teachers to register their students for the XPERTSTEM Mathematics Challenge, as we believe they play a crucial role in developing creative problem solvers who will guide students toward a successful future.

Objectives for XPERTSTEM Mathematics Challenge

Core educational objectives
  • Increase motivation and interest in mathematics: We encourage participants to view mathematics as an engaging and enjoyable discipline rather than a series of boring computations.
  • Enhance problem-solving abilities: W challenge students to move beyond routine textbook problems and develop creative strategies for solving complex, non-standard mathematical problems.
  • Develop mathematical thinking and reasoning: We guide teachers to train students to think logically, build proofs, and approach problems from multiple perspectives.
  • Encourage learning beyond the standard curriculum: We create an environment expose students to advanced topics and the broader applications of mathematics in STEM fields, preparing them for higher-level studies.

  • Nurture perseverance and resilience: We give opportunity solving difficult, multi-step problems teaches students to persist through setbacks and view failure as a learning opportunity.
  • Connect with a community of peers: We are an international competition that bring together like-minded students from more than 20 countries to form lasting bonds and find inspiration in a community of others passionate about mathematics.
